Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) plans to construct a power-to-x facility in Norbis Park.

The project aims at producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), in volumes that are threefold the yearly requirement for Denmark's domestic flights, positioning it among Scandinavia's largest of its type.

Annually, the facility is projected to yield 200 GWh of surplus heat, produce 119 million liters of SAF, and recycle 330,000 tons CO2.

The project is currently in the approval phase. The construction of the facility is expected to commence in 2026 and be completed by 2029.
